Use the sun to create lumen prints, and then transfer an image onto fabric using special techniques! Then design a own pinhole camera made from a box, and use nothing but the sun to take a picture. Once you have taken a bunch of photos, learn how to develop them the old fashioned way - in our 'dark room'!
Instructor bio's: Hailey McHarg graduated from Haliburton School of The Arts' Photo Arts program 2011 where she explored alternative photography methods. Hailey has been a contributing member of the local art community over the past ten years working as a photographer for the County of Lambton, the City of Sarnia, Gallery Lambton, Art Walk, First Friday, Current Festival and Empty Spaces while also working to develop her personal art practice.
Mary Abma is an artist/educator who lives in Bright's Grove, Ontario. Her artworks, which consist primarily of idea-based works executed in a variety of artistic forms, explore themes that allow her to incorporate her interest in history, her concern for the environment, her passion for science, and her desire to find visual expression for her thoughts about the human condition.
