To enhance the JNAAG has partnered with the Lambton Heritage Museum to install an exhibition which spotlights Lambton’s role in the First World War. Lambton at War explores the contributions made by the men, women and families of Lambton County who fought or supported Canada’s wars and peacekeeping missions around the world.
Interactive Map, Story Recording, and Letter Writing
Take a seat, and travel back in time to see where Lambton County’s brave originally lived before they enlisted to serve our country. The Lambton Heritage Museum has been tracking the records of those who served in World War I and has compiled an interactive map. If you have information about someone who served, you will have a chance to submit the information. Audio recording stations have been installed to capture the stories passed down from a friend or loved one, and a writing table for those who want to pen a letter to war vets or deployed troops.
