Historical art is contemporary art produced by young artists living in another time.

Lawren Harris once said, "Creative life in art never seeks to revive the past. It moves into new adventures, seeks new means of expression in harmony with the outlook of its day." This exhibition will celebrate donors of contemporary art. Seminal works produced by Ron Martin, Stephen Andrews, Brian Groombridge, Mark Gomes, Marius Barbeau, Harold Town, David Bolduc, Tom Hodgson, Harold Klunder, Jason McLean, amongst others will be on view. A number of the works included in this exhibition have never been exhibited at the JNAAG.
