An exhibition rooted in ancient knowledge, myths and superstitions is on at the Judith and Norman Alix Art Gallery until Jan. 1.
In the Shadow of the Millennium features contemporary work from 15 artists and resulted from a curatorial residency the gallery’s Darryn Doull did on Fogo Island, Newfoundland in 2015. Seen here is the side view of a pyramid made of plastic, wood and electrical components by Camille Jodoin-Eng.
In the background is an eight-minute video projection by Jessica Mensch and Emily Pelstring.
